Workshop 1: “Military Readiness and Environmental Stewardship”

Activities:

  • Environmental Briefing: Provide an overview of how environmental issues can impact military readiness, including examples of past incidents and best practices.
  • Scenario-Based Exercises: Present realistic scenarios where environmental considerations are crucial in mission planning and execution. Encourage participants to strategize and problem-solve.
  • Base Environmental Tour: Conduct a tour of the military base highlighting environmental initiatives, such as renewable energy projects, waste management, and conservation efforts.
  • Guest Speakers: Invite environmental experts, both from within and outside the military, to discuss the intersection of military operations and environmental conservation.
  • Interactive Decision-Making Game: Create a game or simulation where participants make decisions regarding resource allocation, considering both military objectives and environmental impacts.

Workshop 2: “Resilience and Climate Adaptation for Military Operations”

Objective: To equip military personnel with knowledge and skills for adapting to climate-related challenges during operations.

Activities:

Best Practice Sharing: Encourage participants to share successful sustainability initiatives or practices they have implemented within their units, fostering a culture of innovation and improvement.
